Spot PC Service Launches; Goes GA

The wait is over…

Extra, extra - read all about it! I’m thrilled to announce that Spot PC went GA last Tuesday, 5/17. In fact, you can read all about it:

https://www.crn.com/news/cloud/spot-pc-netapp-s-cloud-based-vdi-now-ready-for-msps

TL;DR: one MSP partner that CRN discussed the solution with described Spot PC as both “…economically disruptive and technically disruptive.”

A major takeaway is that as a Managed Service with a fixed price per user, admins are enabled and empowered to focus on proactively serving end users and delivering outcomes rather than just keeping the lights on. After all, VDI admins are only as good as how quickly they can find out what’s wrong and how quickly they can do something about it…

In addition, Spot PC includes a managed GPU solution for heavy-rendering workloads such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS Pro and more. It’s worth nothing that there is not a GPU solution delivered by Windows 365, so this is a further differentiator.

Want to take a closer look? Contact a Spot PC’s team of experts or check out Spot PC’s Azure Marketplace presence, which has both a link for Enterprise customers and a link for MSPs. Stay tuned for more updates, and follow Spot’s Twitter handle for official updates as well.
